We’ve been making this recipe for years with ground beef or some other sort of beef but a few years we had leftover smoked pork shoulder and we used that instead and we haven’t made it with beef since! You could easily use any beef or even chicken if you wanted to but the smoked meat flavor just sets this recipe up over the top.
Ingredients
- 1-2 pounds of smoked pork shoulder/chicken/beef etc. (make this recipe your own)
- 3 cans of pinto beans
- 1 can of black beans

- 2 cans of green chilies
- 1 pkg of white chili mix
- 1-2 cups of diced potatoes
- salt/pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips.
